Pesquisa documental em educação: contribuições para a formação continuada de professores

This article aims to constitute a theoretical dialogue on documentary research in the context of continuing education for teachers, in the light of the contributions of professor Marli André on qualitative research in the field of education. To this end, we mapped the studies of professor Marli André who used document analysis, in order to situate the author's conception of document sources in educational research. Together, we present an excerpt of an intervention-research carried out with basic education teachers, which was structured as a formative path. The audio, video, text and image records of the meetings in the formative path constituted a documental collection of the research. This documentary production, in dialogue with Professor Marli André's discussions on qualitative research, allowed us to think of new arrangements for documentary research in the field of education, especially in the continuing education of teachers.
