This article aims to analyze discourses and narratives in texts produced by deaf students, an experience undertaken by a teacher assigned to a reading room in an educational process developed during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil. In this experience report, we call attention to the social representations based on disability and difference conceptions. The proposal was developed exclusively through ICTs, remotely, in the city of Belém-PA. This work main objective was to stimulate students to pursue remote studies from their homes. Methodologically, this is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. As references, we resorted to Jovchelovitch (1997; 2000), Moscovici (1978; 2003; 2015), Santaella (2001), among others. We assert that ICTs usage in deaf students’ education has infinite potential, especially in communication-related, culture, literacy, and the process of human emancipation aspects, as well as implies countless challenges to implement inclusive education.
