Ensino religioso e a Base Nacional Comum Curricular: dimensão histórica e habilidades socioemocionais

This paper has as its object of study the Religious Education, having as its north the Common Core State Standards, in addition to possible articulations based on the pedagogical work of linking the development of socio-emotional skills, according to the culture of peace. The objective is to promote possible reflections on the problematic of pedagogical performance in the discipline of Religious Education, in which the student’s integral development is privileged. The pedagogical enactment in this discipline through the introduction of the culture of peace and the act of educating for peace is the specificity of this discipline. The perspective of socio-emotional skills is used as a mechanism capable of demonstrating the diversity and the eminent need for respect for these aspects that are imposed. The main theoretical framework consists of Baptista and Oliveira (2019), Geertz (2008a, 2008b), Junqueira and Itoz (2020), Rodrigues (2020), Kluck (2020) and Reis (2020). The result of the discussion points to the possibility of methodological innovation in teaching practice in Religious Education classes, through the integrality of the cognizant being, from the educational stimulus of emotions and their inevitable social action.
